v <br />BOARD OF HEALTH MEETING RECEIVED <br />MINUTES TOWN CLERK <br />November 13, 2008 , D N G . MASS. <br />The Board of Health meeting was called to order on Novemberffl, gLM 81 # 5A51Q1i419y <br />Chairman Barbara Meade at the Berger Room, Town Hall. Those present at the meeting <br />were Barbara Meade Chair, and Colleen Seferian and Dr. David Singer. <br />In attendance: Linda Webster, Macaroni Grill, Erica McNamara - RCASA, Julia Perry <br />RCASA, Ben Hitchcock RCASA, Connie DeBenedetto RCASA, Madeline Chiappini and <br />Larry Ramdin, Staff Liaison/ Health Services Administrator. <br />OLD BUSINESS <br />Minutes of meeting held on October 9, 2008 were read and accepted 3:0.0 <br />Introduction and Confirmation of Dina Mc Carron RN as an Agent of the Board of <br />Health <br />Dina Mc Carron, RN was introduced to the board, as the Public Health Nurse, Ms Mc <br />Carron started her duties with reading on October 3, 2008, previous to this position, she <br />was the public health Nurse in the City of Everett. Ms Mc Carron's appointment as an <br />Agent of the Board was confirmed by a 3:0:0 vote of the Board. <br />New licenses and Variances <br />Romano's Macaroni Grill <br />Linda Webster, Manager Roman's Macaroni Grill, Walkers Brook Crossing appeared <br />before the Board to petition for a food establishment permit. Ms Webster advised the <br />Board that the new license is necessary, because the ownership of the restaurant had <br />changed and there will be no changes in the restaurant operations, menu and physical <br />layout. Larry Ramdin Health Services Administrator, confirmed that the ownership at <br />Roman's Macaroni Grill had changed and pursuant to 105CMR 590.00, a new license is <br />necessary as food establishment permits are not transferable, there will be no changes in <br />the operation and recommended approval of the application. The Board approved the <br />license application 3:0:0. <br />The Wine Shop <br />The Wine Shop is transferring ownership as well and the potential buyers were unable to <br />attend,the meeting today. The Board was advised by the Health Administrator that there <br />will be no change in the operation; however the new ownership is considering applying <br />for a tobacco permit to sell cigars. The approval was deferred to the December 11, <br />meeting when the new owners will appear before the Board to petition for approval of <br />their Food permit application. <br />
