RCC Reading; Cultural Council <br />Town Manao-er's Office - Reading Town Hall - Reading, MA 01867 <br />Reading Cultural Council Meeting Minutes October 18, 2000 <br />7:30pm at the Reading Public Library. <br />Members in attendance: Roberta McRae, Judy Junker, Ann Rotondo, Joyce Holt, Allison DaSilva, <br />Anna. Dixon. <br />Joyce Holt had the minutes from the Sept. 6, 2000 and the minutes were approved. <br />Two copies of the approved minutes will be delivered to the Town Clerk's office at Reading Town <br />Hall after every meeting in the future. The Town Clerk will then forward 1 copy of the minutes to <br />the Reading Public Library. (Per a memo dated 9/14/00 from Cheryl A. Johnson, Town Clerks <br />office to CHairman - Boards, Conunittees, Commissions and Task Forces. <br />Roberta McRae passed out the Reading Cultural Council members list. <br />Ann Rotondo delivered the Treasurer's Report. <br />The next meeting will be for grant applicant interviews. <br />Our approved grants are subject to state approval. The approval list from the State came back in <br />March and April. <br />Rejection letters - You may not appeal unless the council did not follow the State's rules. <br />In the past, approval letters were sent out. Now we can send approval letters because the State says <br />we are streamlined and money will be sent when money is sent by the state. <br />Joyce Holt bound the Grant Books and passed them out to the members present. Roberta McRae <br />took one more copy for the absent member, Debra D'Arcy . <br />46 grant applications were submitted this year. <br />59 grant applications were submitted last year <br />Michael Conner got his own funding <br />
