I q A 10. 2 q <br />RCC Reading Cultural Council <br />Reading Cultural Council Meeting Minutes Oct. 3, 2001 µ1l 1`vµ~~j lv 1 ov <br />7:30pm at the Reading Public Library <br />Members in attendance: Harold Bond, Ann Rotondo, Allison DaSilva, Anna Dixon and Judy <br />Junker. <br />The minutes from June 13th and Sept. 5th were read, edited and approved. <br />Ann Rotondo presented the Treasurer's Report. $455 interest from last year will be paid to the <br />Council and it should be an ongoing process. Ann has a letter showing no interest payments were <br />given to the RCC from the Town of Reading since 1997. Peter Heckenblecker will be checking <br />on this matter. <br />Last year's grants: <br />Birchmeadow - 1 outstanding <br />Joshua Eaton - still waiting for reimbursement <br />No changes were made over the summer and the figures match. <br />Allison DaSilva made a motion for the Treasurer's Report to be accepted and Anna Dixon <br />seconded it. <br />Ann Rotondo showed the council the forms she uses for the town that she fills out to be <br />reimbursed. She passed out copies of the form to the council. <br />The Margie Davis situation was followed up and resolved. She received $100 and the other $100 <br />will be regranted because she is not doing the 2nd workshop before 12/31/01. <br />Ann Rotondo's 6 year term as Treasurer is up in June 2002. <br />The AARP has volunteers in the community to get someone to manage the treasurer's duties. The <br />person would have to be from Reading. A 7th member is needed. Judy Junker will check with <br />the Career Place AARP Job Developer, Camille to see if there are any interested applicants. <br />State Budget: <br />y' Allison Da Silva called Karin Tratchenberg about when funds will be available. There is no news <br />yet. Karin said the latest they usually come up with the numbers is in Nov. 2001. <br />
