Reading Cultural Council- ; V E D <br />October 6, 2004 J L E R K <br />{ A S S. <br />7:05-Meeting Called to Order U, <br />Members Present: Valerie Alagero, Allison DaSilva, Harold Bo ok?r, p <br />Hatherley <br />Commitment to Meetings: It was noted that the council needs a renewed commitment <br />from its members to the meetings due to the upcoming grant cycle. <br />Treasurers Report: The report was accepted. Payments have been made to the Reading <br />Library and Reading trophies out of Administrative dollars. It was also brought to the <br />council' s attention that a new town hall policy has been put into place which requires a <br />copy of minutes approving expenses out of administrative dollars accompanied by a <br />board member signature. <br />Review of Mail Items: <br />Discussed RCTV organization night <br />Massachusetts Cultural Council- Due to reorganization the RCC has a new <br />contact named Kristen Baker. <br />The issue of Elise O'Connor's request for partial-progress payment was again <br />discussed. Based on communication with her we have approved a partial- <br />progress payment of $233.00. The council will process the progress payment <br />and will expect subsequent reimbursement forms for remaining seven <br />programs proposed in the grant application. <br />Grant Cycle: the council reviewed several preliminary proposals for grants. <br />December 8, 2004 Meeting Canceled: There was a proposal for a non-voting meeting to <br />fill out paper work on January 6, 2005. <br />No RAID update, <br />Community Input Survey: The council went over the first draft of the community input <br />survey and decided to postpone further discussion on the topic until the January 19, 2005 <br />meeting. <br />Meeting Adjourned: 8:25 <br />Respectfully submitted, <br />Janet Hatherley <br />
