CLEU <br />a" SASS. <br />Reading Cultural Council <br />March 16, 2005 tAN ~ i 9 <br />7:05 - Meeting called to order <br />Members present: Allison DaSilva, Karyn Storti, Harold Bond, Valerie Alagero, Anne <br />Hooker, Kathy Kelley, Nicole Cain, Janet Hatherley, Amelia Golini <br />Treasurer's Report: Accepted <br />Treasury comment(s): <br />The town books claim the RCC has $35.00 more dollars than the RCC books <br />claim. Anne Hooker will resolve with Richard Foley the town accountant. <br />Miscellaneous Items: <br />• Valerie and Allison attended Creating Community, an anniversary celebration just <br />for local LCC's held at the Mass. State House in Boston on March 2, 2005. Both <br />reported positive feedback and agreed it was an excellent opportunity to interact <br />with local legislators and connect to other LCC's. <br />• Amelia's announcement stating the programs funded by the Reading Cultural <br />Council should be published "soon." The announcement will also describe the <br />role of an associate member. <br />Survey: <br />• On Saturday, March 19, 2005 the Reading Public Library will host its yearly open <br />house. Between 9:00 am and 12:30 p.m. a table will be set up with blank surveys <br />for people to fill out. In shifts, Valerie, Anne and Karyn will represent the RCC <br />at the survey table. Approximately 250 blank surveys will be available at the <br />library for people to fill out. The same amount will be available at the Town Hall <br />as well as the YMCA. 600 surveys will be available at RMHS. <br />Meeting Adjourned 8:15 <br />Respectfully submitted, <br />Nicole Cain <br />
