Council on Aging Board Meeting R IK <br />1 f S. <br />Monday, May 14,2007 REAM <br />Reading Senior Center- Game Room <br />Q JU!"I-2 PI2:Q2 <br />Present: Marguerite Bosnian, Betty Cronin, Margaret Havey, Sally Hoyt, Edwina Kasper, Carol <br />Patterson, and Charlie McDonald (Associate member) <br />Absent: Stacey Bertocchi, Ruth Goldberg, Barbara Powers, Carole Scrima, Dawn Folopoulos <br />(Staff) <br />6:30 Meeting called to order <br />April 9, 2007 minutes accepted <br />Administrator's Report accepted <br />Financial Report accepted <br />Old Business <br />• It was voted upon and agreed unanimously that we would not provide music at the Elder <br />Services booth at Friends and Family Day in June. <br />• The booth coverage was determined. <br />• Betty will see that rocks for paperweights and water are provided. <br />• Dawn will gather supplies for the giveaway bags as well as a banner and candy. <br />New Business <br />• Volunteer Appreciation gifts were handed out to volunteers who could not go to the <br />Volunteer dinner. <br />• It was voted upon and agreed unanimously that the Council would not meet in July and <br />August. <br />• Reappointment letters were handed out and will be acted on if they have not already done <br />so. <br />• Sally Hoyt, chairman of the Silver Legislature noted that the new State program - Choice <br />- will be shown on RCTV on Thursday, May 17 at 6 p.m. <br />• New name for the Division was discussed and Marguerite suggested: "Intergenerational <br />Community Services".
