RECEI <br />J; ~:1 <br />Council on Aging Board Meeting ~ ~ ~ ,Y, r { <br />Monday, April 14, 2008 <br />Reading Senior Center-Game Room 2008 DEC 2b P 131 <br />Present: Carol Patterson, Marguerite Bosnian, Stacey Bertocchi, Barbara Powers, Margaret <br />Havey, Edwina Kasper, Carole Scrima, Ruth Goldberg, Steve Oston, Dawn Folopoulos (staff) <br />Excused absence: Sally Hoyt and Charlie McDonald (associate member) <br />6:29 Meeting called to order. <br />No minutes to approve <br />Administrator's Report approved and accepted. <br />Financial Report approved and accepted. <br />Old Business <br />Friends and Family Day <br />Motion to purchase brochures for $250 plus shipping and handling from the Burbank <br />Trust Fund - Approved 9-0 <br />Motion to purchase jar openers, pencils, candy and $50 for caregiver brochures - from the <br />Burbank Trust Fund - Approved 9-0 <br />Dawn provided an update about the Presenter's Policy Committee. The policy is currently being <br />review by Carol Kowalski, Community Services Director. <br />The council. will not meet in July or August <br />Dawn provided an update about the Nurse Advocate's presentation to the Board of Selectmen. <br />Motion to Adjourn 7:25pm <br />Respectfully submitted, <br />Carole Scrima <br />
