9-21-05
Members: Ron Daddario, Gina Snyder
i
Discussed feedback from communities that were contacted. U`
A benefit to CCP is that it gives form and structure to the effort,
provides networking with a group where all are doing the evaluation the
same way, speaking the same language.
Amherst and Arlington notes reviewed
Message left for MA Climate Action Network to ask what `s the
difference or connection to CCP? (Some towns, s.a. Arlington are in
both programs)
Williamstown Selectman Jane Allen had very positive things to say about
the program.
People volunteer to add $6-7 to their electric bills for greening the
library so they've put solar panels to run the AC. Ron is also trying
to call Lynn and Salem.
The committee should type up all notes and email to the whole group, so
we can collate and build a report.
Ron will call Peter to get on Selectmen's agenda before the end of
October to meet our charge. Will also ask how an intern would work if
we have a volunteer from the town.
Work on powerpoint to get a head start on presentation. Gina to
translate and send to group.
