The minutes for June 28 were accepted unanimously. Welcome to John Rogers from North Reading (recycling committee) who saw our article in the RMDL newsletter. The committee members provided John with some background on the committee and members' participation. Review of t!f~A art shows the five steps for data gathering on target. Baseline computed by early August, forecast early September and final inventory early September. Target reduction would be set by November, so this would be a Selectmen and Town Meeting presentation. Our action plan would be developed from November 06 to January 2007 with implementation following through the spring and summer. Then next fall we'd be measuring how we are doing. Michele provided a summary of the progress of the data gathering for the CCP software. They have resent the request to the DPW and DPW has said they will be able to provide info. On town vehicles. Michele tapped RMLD to get municipal building information. KeySpan is still developing a query, and census data for 2000 can be used for demographics.
