Town of Reading Board of Cemetery Trustees Tuesday, March 7, 1995 Pursuant to a meeting legally posted, the meeting of March 7, 1995 convened at 7 : 30 P.M. in the Arnold Berger Meeting Room, Reading Town Hall. Present: John Silvaggi, Chairman Joyce Miller, Vice Chairman Daniel F. Driscoll, Secretary Edward F. Fuller Mary Vincent Robert Keating, Supervisor of the Reading Cemeteries, was also present. 1. Secretary Minutes On a motion by Ms. Vincent, seconded by Mr. Fuller it was unani- mously voted to accept the Secretary's minutes of the January 31, 1995 Trustees Meeting. 2 . Review of FY96 Budget for Finance Committee Meeting General discussion relative to the interest from the Bequest Funds used for the Cemetery Budget has increased every year. 630 of the interest (82, 000) for the FY96 Budget. A good portion of the Bequest Fund interest is used for the maintenance of Laurel Hill. Supervisor Keating advised that veterans comprise 10% of total interments and the number increases each year. It was agreed to. request that the veteran's flowers, flags and markers costs be borne from the General Fund. 3 . Wood End Update Supervisor Keating reported that a meeting will be conducted on March 29th by the Conservation Commission relative to a deter- mination as to where the wetlands extend around the boundaries of the Wood End Cemetery. 4 . Receipts Supervisor Keating furnished the Trustees with copies of the receipts from Sale of Lots and Miscellaneous charges for July 1994 through February 28, 1995. 5. Next Meeting The next scheduled meeting will be Tuesday, April 4 , 1995. Meeting adjourned at 8 :45 P.M.
