Town of Reading <br /> Board of Cemetery Trustees <br /> Tuesday, March 7, 1995 <br /> Pursuant to a meeting legally posted, the meeting of March 7, <br /> 1995 convened at 7 : 30 P.M. in the Arnold Berger Meeting Room, <br /> Reading Town Hall. <br /> Present: John Silvaggi, Chairman <br /> Joyce Miller, Vice Chairman <br /> Daniel F. Driscoll, Secretary <br /> Edward F. Fuller <br /> Mary Vincent <br /> Robert Keating, Supervisor of the Reading Cemeteries, was also <br /> present. <br /> 1. Secretary Minutes <br /> On a motion by Ms. Vincent, seconded by Mr. Fuller it was unani- <br /> mously voted to accept the Secretary's minutes of the January 31, <br /> 1995 Trustees Meeting. <br /> 2 . Review of FY96 Budget for Finance Committee Meeting <br /> General discussion relative to the interest from the Bequest <br /> Funds used for the Cemetery Budget has increased every year. 630 <br /> of the interest (82, 000) for the FY96 Budget. A good portion of <br /> the Bequest Fund interest is used for the maintenance of Laurel <br /> Hill. <br /> Supervisor Keating advised that veterans comprise 10% of total <br /> interments and the number increases each year. It was agreed to. <br /> request that the veteran's flowers, flags and markers costs be <br /> borne from the General Fund. <br /> 3 . Wood End Update <br /> Supervisor Keating reported that a meeting will be conducted on <br /> March 29th by the Conservation Commission relative to a deter- <br /> mination as to where the wetlands extend around the boundaries of <br /> the Wood End Cemetery. <br /> 4 . Receipts <br /> Supervisor Keating furnished the Trustees with copies of the <br /> receipts from Sale of Lots and Miscellaneous charges for July <br /> 1994 through February 28, 1995. <br /> 5. Next Meeting <br /> The next scheduled meeting will be Tuesday, April 4 , 1995. <br /> Meeting adjourned at 8 :45 P.M. <br />
