z: <br />Town of Reading <br />Board of Cemetery Trustees b <br />Tuesday, September 3, 1996 a <br />Pursuant to a meeting legally posted, the meeting of September 3, 1996 convened at 8:03 P.M. in <br />the Berger Room, Reading Town Hall Annex, Reading, MA. <br />Present: Daniel F. Driscoll, Chairman <br />Mary Vincent, Secretary <br />Randolph Harrison <br />William Brown <br />Robert Keating, Superintendent of Cemeteries was also in attendance. <br />Old Business <br />Prior to convening at Town Hall, the Trustees met at Wood End Cemetery for a visual <br />report-in-progress. The Trustees were very pleased with how work is progressing. The Trustees <br />would like it noted that the vision and hard work of Robert Keating and his crew should be <br />commended. Superintendent Keating hopes that sale of lots may begin next fall (1997). The <br />Trustees returned to Town Hall to conduct the rest of their meeting. <br />Review of Past Meeting Minutes <br />On a motion by Randolph Harrison, seconded by William Brown, the minutes were accepted <br />unanimously. <br />Columbarium Options <br />Superintendent Keating presented the Trustees with a report on the possibility of having a <br />Columbarium structure at Wood End. He presented the Trustees with different types of <br />Columbariums that are available. He will present more on this at a later meeting. <br />Forest Glen Renovations. <br />There is an on-going problem with the lawn at Forest Glen due to the drought conditions which <br />have existed. Superintendent Keating feels this will be a work in progress for several years to <br />come. <br />Receipts and Trust Fund Report <br />The receipts and Trust Fund report were reviewed by the Trustees. <br />
