Town of Reading <br />Board of Cemetery Trustees <br />Tuesday, February 3, 1998 :ao <br />Pursuant to a meeting legally posted, the meeting of February 3, 1998 convened at 6:00 <br />P.M. in the Berger Room, Reading Town Hall Annex, Reading, MA 01867 <br />Present: Daniel F. Driscoll, Chairman <br />Mary Vincent, Secretary <br />William Brown <br />Randolph Harrison <br />Robert Keating, Superintendent of Cemeteries was also in attendance. <br />Review of Past Meeting Minutes <br />The minutes were accepted on a motion by William Brown, seconded by Randolph <br />Harrison. <br />Woodend Update <br />Superintendent Keating reported that wraps have been put around the trees to protect <br />them from animals. The Reading Municipal Light Department is still looking for a light <br />for the flagpole at Wood End. New signs are ready and will be installed as weather <br />permits. Superintendent Keating stated we are within our $200,000 frame work on work <br />that has been done at Wood End. Drainage and asphalt road work were not figured into <br />our original estimate. Irrigation can be installed in-house as we do not have to pay water <br />costs from our budget back to the Town. <br />New Business <br />The Finance Committee meets March 4, 1998 and our budget will be presented then. <br />Receipts <br />Superintendent Keating reported that fees are behind. Residents are happy with the two <br />price structure of Charles Lawn and Wood End. The Trustees feel we are enabling <br />residents to buy a lot suited to their financial needs. <br />Adjourn <br />The meeting adjourned at 7:00 P.M. The next meeting of the Trustees will be <br />Wednesday, March 4, 1998 at 6:00 P.M.
