He is able to keep up with the demands of the Cemetery
Division with no problems in providing service. The Forestry and Parks Departments
have been weak in manpower this past summer, but there will be additional hiring done
this Fall. July was very busy for the Cemetery Department for interments. August was
not as busy. Hydro-seeding will be done this month.
Our project is within budget. $150,000 has been spent with $50,000 left to spend.
FY99 Budget Preview
Superintendent Keating presented the budget to the trustees. At this time our sale of lots
money is being used to pay back our note. After discussion, the budget for FY99 was
passed unanimously.
