Town of Reading <br />Board of Cemetery Trustees <br />Tuesday, April 6, 1999 <br />Pursuant to a meeting legally posted, the meeting of April 6, 1999 convened at 6:00 P.M. in the <br />Berger Room, Reading Town Hall Annex, Reading, MA 01867 <br />Present: Daniel Driscoll, Chairman <br />John Silvaggi, Vice-Chairman - <br />Mary Vincent, Secretary <br />Roc O'Connell <br />William Brown <br />Robert Keating, Superintendent of Cemeteries was also in attendance. <br />Review of Past Meeting Minutes <br />On a motion by Mary Vincent, seconded by Roc O'Connell, the minutes were accepted. <br />Wood End Update <br />Trustee William Brown had made plagues for all the Trustees with the dedication ceremony of the <br />Wood End Cemetery program. The individual members accepted his hard work with thanks for all <br />his time and effort. <br />Cemetery Updates <br />Superintendent Keating reported that his crews are hard at work readying the cemeteries for <br />Memorial day. The Cemetery Dept. has again accepted the free fertilizer offered to the Town by <br />the MWRA. <br />New Member Status <br />The Trustees are looking for new members. A short discussion was held on going from a six- <br />member board to a five-member board, but no action was taken. <br />Old Business <br />The Cemetery has an article in this Town Meeting regarding the back portion of Wood End. <br />Superintendent Keating explained that this is a house keeping article. The Cemetery will be <br />swapping useable land and giving unusable (for our purposes) land to Conservation. <br />Superintendent Keating stated there is enough money to satisfy our Wood End note. <br />Receipt <br />Trustees reviewed receipts <br />
