Town of Reading <br />Board of Cemetery Trustees <br />Tuesday, August 7, 2001 <br />Pursuant to a meeting legally posted, the meeting of August 7, 2001 convened at 6:25 P.M. in the <br />Berger Room, 16 Lowell Street, Reading Town Hall. <br />Present: Mary Vincent, Chairman <br />William Brown, Secretary <br />Roc O'Connell <br />Steve Meehan <br />Absent: Daniel Driscoll, Vice Chairman <br />Janet Baronian <br />Also Present: Robert Keating, Superintendent <br />Review of Past Meeting Minutes <br />w v <br />The Minutes of June 5, 2001 were reviewed and were accepted on a motion by Roc O'ann i <br />seconded by Steve Meehan. <br />A , <br />General Business <br />Bill Brown spoke to the Board about the proposed veterans flower trust fund, will give more <br />information once everything is in place. <br />Bob Keating noted that the theft of flowers has stopped. He did not know the outcome of the woman <br />that had stolen flowers. He also noted a request for a wavier of fees for a proposed interment of a <br />body and an urn in the same grave at the same time. The Board will await the written request. <br />Receipts <br />FY2001 year-end miscellaneous fees exceeded the estimate by $12,000.00; the money stays with <br />Town. <br />A 'ourn <br />The meeting adjourned at 7:OOPM.
