Town of Reading <br />Board of Cemetery Trustees <br />Tuesday, April 1, 2003 <br />Pursuant to a meeting legally posted, the meeting of April 1, 2003 convened at 6:05 P.M. in the <br />Berger Room, 16 Lowell Street, Reading Town Hall. <br />Present: Mary Vincent, Chairman <br />Roc O'Connell, Vice Chairman <br />William Brown <br />Secretary <br />, <br />Daniel Driscoll <br />NO <br />Steve Meehan <br />M <br />Janet Baronian <br />M r-, <br />cry <br />Also Present: Robert Keating, Superintendent <br />° <br />Review of Past Meeting Minutes <br />The Minutes of March 4, 2003 were reviewed and approved on a motion by Daniel Driscoll and <br />seconded by Roc O'Connell. <br />General Business <br />Bob Keating explained that the FY2004 budget was approved by FINCOM with the $10,000 to <br />offset benefits as voted and not the $15,000 as shown. <br />On a motion by Roc O'Connell, seconded by Steve Meehan, the Trustees voted 6-0 to increase <br />the price of lots and other charges - effective July 1, 2003. (Please include new price sheet in <br />records) <br />On a motion by Bill Brown, seconded by Roc O'Connell, the Trustees voted 6-0 to change the <br />Sale of Lots/Bequest to 70/30 split; up from the present 60/40 - effective July 1, 2003. This <br />allows funeral directors time to adjust to new rates, <br />Bob Keating noted the April 1st deadline for removal of winter decorations, this allows for <br />spring clean-up. <br />Receipts <br />Receipts are down 10-15 percent, but are on track for the year to date, <br />Adjourn <br />The meeting adjourned at 6:55 P.M. The next scheduled meeting of the Trustees will be <br />Tuesday, May 20, 2003 at 6:00 P.M, this will include a Memorial Day Review tour by Bob <br />Keating, transportation by Janet Baronian. <br />Respectfully submitted, <br />William C.
