.11 <br />Town of Reading <br />Board of Cemetery Trustees <br />Tuesday, May 20, 2003 <br />Pursuant to a meeting legally posted, the meeting of May 20, 2003 convened at 6:00 P.M. in the <br />Berger Room, 16 Lowell Street, Reading Town Hall. <br />Present: Mary Vincent, Chairman <br />William Brown, Secretary <br />Daniel Driscoll <br />Steve Meehan <br />Janet Baronian <br />Absent: Roc O'Connell, Vice Chairman <br />= <br />Also Present: Robert Keating, Superintendent <br />CD <br />Review of Past Meeting Minutes <br />The Minutes of April 1, 2003 were reviewed and approved on a motion by Daniel Driscoll and <br />seconded by Janet Baronian. <br />General Business <br />The Trustees toured the four cemeteries prior to Memorial Day. Bob Keating explained the <br />various sections of Laurel Hill and the Trustees viewed the 1888 tomb that at some point will <br />need repair. The trustees reconvened at 6:55PM in Town Hall. Bob Keating explained that the <br />department might be over budget due to a case of long term sick time and the need to hire <br />replacement help. He also stated that because of the large amount of lots offered for repurchase <br />that the Sale of Lots fund might be depleted this year. <br />The Trustees by a 5-0 vote, voted to allow Mr. Keating to use funds to cover both situations. <br />Adjourn <br />The meeting adjourned at 7:20 P.M. The next scheduled meeting of the Trustees will be <br />Tuesday, July 1, 2003 at 6:00 P.M.
