v <br />Town of Reading <br />Board of Cemetery Trustees <br />Tuesday, September 2, 2003 <br />Pursuant to a meeting legally posted, the meeting of September 2, 2003 convened at 6:00 P.M. <br />in the Berger Room, 16 Lowell Street, Reading Town Hall. <br />Present: Mary Vincent, Chairman <br />Roe O'Connell, Vice Chairman <br />William Brown, Secretary <br />Daniel Driscoll <br />Steve Meehan <br />Janet Baronian <br />Also Present: Robert Keating,,Superintendent <br />w <br />Review of Past Meeting Minutes v~ <br />The Minutes of July 1, 2003 were reviewed and approved on a motion by Daniel Etiscoll and <br />seconded by Steve Meehan. <br />General Business <br />The Board heard various options on the tomb at Laurel Hill, Bob Keating has obtained estimates <br />frorn $5,100.00 to $20,000.00 for engineering alone. He mentioned historic trust funds and the <br />cost o fiobtaining them, the Board took no action but will review in again. Roc <br />0'G nn~l e7t' strongly that we should consider if large sums should be spent in view of the <br />Town fiscal needs. <br />Receipts <br />Receipts are good. <br />Adiourn <br />The meeting adjourned at 6:50 P.M: The next scheduled meeting of the Trustees will be <br />Tuesday, October 7, 2003 at 6:00 P.M. <br />Respectfully submitted, <br />4 - ~ C- <br />William C.
