Town of Reading <br />Board of Cemetery Trustees` <br />Tuesday, May 25, 2004 <br />Pursuant to a meeting legally posted, the meeting of May 25, 2004 convened at 6:00 P.M. in the <br />Berger Room, 16 Lowell Street, Reading Town Hall. <br />Present: Roc O'Connell, Vice Chairman <br />William Brown, Secretary <br />Daniel Driscoll <br />Steve Meehan <br />Janet B aronian <br />Absent: Mary Vincent, Chairman <br />Also Present: Robert Keating, Superintendent <br />Review of Past Meeting Minutes <br />The Minutes of March 9, 2004 were reviewed and approved. <br />General Business <br />- The Board voted not to grant a wavier on the size of a monument requested by Patricia Tassi <br />and sisters to be placed on the graves of their parents John and Mary Whalen in Forest Glen <br />Cemetery. <br />During the conversation with the Whalen relatives, Bob Keating stated the reason Reading <br />cemeteries are so well kept, is because Boards since the early 20's have maintained the <br />regulations. <br />The Board voted to offer Mr Sebeika to purchase his mothers grave site for $840.00, the <br />perpetual care cost. <br />The Board toured the four cemeteries and would like to thank Bob Keating and all the <br />employees for a job well done. <br />Receipts <br />Receipts are down for the year. <br />Adjourn <br />The meeting adjourned at 7:30 P.M. The next scheduled meeting of the Trustees will be <br />Tuesday, June 15, 2004 at 6:00 P.M when the Board will tour the Cemeteries. <br />Respectfully submitted, <br />William C.
