I'll <br />1 ~ G <br />Town of Reading <br />Board of Cemetery Trustees <br />Tuesday, November 1, 2005 <br />Pursuant to a meeting legally posted, the meeting of November 1, 2005 convened at 6:00 P.M. <br />in the Berger Room, 16 Lowell Street, Reading Town Hall. <br />Present: Mary Vincent, Chairman <br />Roc O'Connell, Vice Chairman <br />William Brown, Secretary <br />- <br />Janet Baronian <br />Ron Stortz <br />Absent: Douglas Bruce <br />ev <br />u> <br />Also Present: Robert Keating, Superintendent <br />w <br />Review of Past Meeting Minutes <br />The Minutes of October 5, 2005 were reviewed and approved on a <br />motion by Mary Vincent and <br />seconded by Janet Baronian. <br />General Business <br />Bob noted that a new employee has replaced a long-term employee that had moved to the <br />Highway Division. He also noted that because of the amount of rain, graves settled and had to <br />be reloamed and reseeded. <br />The Trustees, on a motion by Mary Vincent, voted Roc O'Connell Chairman, Janet Baronian <br />Vice Chairman, and William Brown Secretary. Chairman O'Connell appointed William Brown <br />the Trustees representative on the Veteran's Memorial Fund. <br />Receipts <br />Receipts are light, fewer burials and more cremations. Bob continued to note that the P.C. fund <br />has not grown with declining interest rates and more cremations. He stated that the Town <br />Manager is aware of the situation and that as soon as the new Town Accountant and Assistant <br />Town Manager get familiar, they will be looking into the situation. <br />Adiourn <br />The meeting adjourned at 6:25 P.M.
