Town of Readings <br />Board of Cemetery Trustees CLERK <br />Tuesday, September 4, READING,MASS <br />A- 10 Ll <br />Pursuant to a meeting legally posted, the meeting of September 4, 2007 con <br />vUWY 6.0 P.M ` 1 <br />in the Berger Room, 16 Lowell Street, Reading Town Hall. <br />Present: Janet Baronian, Vice Chairman <br />William Brown, Secretary <br />Mary Vincent <br />Ron Stortz <br />Elise Ciregna <br />Absent: Roe O'Connell, Chairman <br />Also Present: Robert Keating, Superintendent <br />Review of Past Meeting Minutes <br />The Minutes of June 26, 2007 were reviewed and approved on a motion by Mary Vincent and <br />seconded by Ron Stortz. <br />General Business <br />The Trustees welcomed new member Elise Ciregna. She brings several years of cemetery <br />background tothe Board. <br />Bob gave a short history and the mission of the Trustees for the benefit of the new member. <br />Bob gave the Trustees a memo from Joe Huggins - Facilities Director, on a range of estimates <br />for a service building. Based on approximately 3200 sq ft, a new building could run between <br />$750 and $850 thousand, it will be on the capital plan. Bob also gave a layout of the present <br />building of approximately 1,600 sq ft. <br />The trustees feel strongly that a new building must be in Laurel Hill since this is the largest of <br />the four cemeteries. <br />The trustees will review the rules and regulations and may or may not decide to make changes. <br />Adiourn <br />Due to a budget review, the next meeting of the Trustees will be Tuesday, October 16, 2007 at <br />6:00 P.M. <br />Respectfully submitted, <br />William C.
