BYLAW COMMITTEE MINUTES #284 <br />Monday, March 31, 2008 <br />Meeting called to order at 7:10 p.m. in the Town Hall Conference Room. <br />Members present: Phil Pacino, Dolores Carroll and Ron O'Keefe, Jr. <br />RECEIVED <br />"OWN CLFRK <br />H_D1N .1`1ASS. <br />t1108 JUN 1 P 1: 3 <br />Town Manager Peter Heckenbleickner joined the Committee to review Article 13 of the Annual <br />Town Meeting. <br />Article 13: Approval of this article would permit the Board of Selectmen to issue "all <br />alcoholic licenses" to restaurants with a capacity of less than 100 seats, which presently serve <br />only beer and wine. The number of liquor licenses would not increase and the seating <br />requirement would be eliminated. <br />If Town Meeting approves this article, a home rule petition will be filed with the Legislature and <br />if approved, would be placed on the ballot for the 2009 Annual Town Election. <br />On motion of Dolores Carroll, seconded by Ron O'Keefe, the Committee voted to recommend <br />Article 13 by a vote of 3-0-0. <br />Minutes #283: Following the reading of Minutes #283, on motion of Ron O'Keefe, Jr., <br />seconded by Dolores Carroll, the Committee voted to accept the minutes by a vote of 3-0-0. <br />Meeting adjourned at 7:20 p.m. <br />Respectfully submitted, <br />Dolores S.
