Committee Vice-Chair, Mary Ellen Stolecki, Rec. <br />Committee Member, Steve Meehan, Rec. Committee Member, Rick Shaffer, Rec. Committee <br />Member, Mary Ann Kozlowski, School Rep., John Feudo, Recreation Administrator. <br />Guest: Peter Hechenbleikner, Town Manager <br />The meeting was called to order at 7:15 PM. <br />The Committee was asked to review the minutes from the January 12'h meeting. <br />M. Stolecki made a motion to accept the minutes from the January 12th Recreation Committee <br />meeting. M. Kozlowski seconded the motion. The motion passed in favor of acceptance of the <br />minutes 5-0-0. <br />Open Space and Recreation Master Plan <br />The Recreation Committee discussed the topic of the Open Space and Recreation Master Plan <br />tabled from the November Meeting. J. Feudo mentioned that the Board of Selectmen would be <br />looking for a member of the Recreation Committee to serve on the Open Space and Recreation <br />Master Plan committee. Town Manager Peter Hechenbleikner stopped in briefly and spoke about <br />the open space plan. The Master Plan is updated every 5 years. <br />The Recreation Committee discussed possible candidates for the committee. Frank Driscoll and <br />Jack Downing were discussed as members that might be interested. J. Feudo stated he would check <br />with both Frank and Jack to see if they had interest in being part of the Open Space and Recreation <br />Master Plan Committee. <br />Recommendation Form <br />The Recreation Committee discussed a document developed by J. Feudo and N. Swain as a <br />recommendation form to provide to the Board of Selectmen. This document has been designed to <br />give the Board of Selectmen a clear and detailed recommendation to include: <br />1) What was proposed? <br />2) The Recreation Committee's motion. <br />3) Supporting comments. <br />4) Any areas of concern. <br />
