Swain called the meeting to order at 7:08 PM <br />The Committee was asked to review the minutes from the February 8th meeting. The Recreation <br />Committee did not meet in April due to lack of quorum and chose not to meet in March. <br />M.E. Stolecki made a motion to accept the minutes from the February 8th Recreation Committee <br />meeting. B. Winne seconded the motion. The motion passed in favor of acceptance of the minutes <br />5-0-0. <br />J. Feudo introduced Adam Pollock, President of Reading Pop Warner. Mr. Pollock introduced <br />himself as the new President of Pop Warner. He asked to appear before the Committee to discuss <br />the field fees for the cheerleaders of the Pop Warner Program. Currently, the cheerleaders as users <br />of the Turf fields would need to pay the $2 surcharge. Mr. Pollock was looking to have that <br />surcharge waived due to following reasons: <br />• Cheerleaderare not actual game participants. <br />• They are already paying the school department $6,000 for rental for <br />cheerleading. <br />• They only need the field for about two thirds of the season. <br />A long discussion ensued regarding the field fees of the turf fields.B. Winne made a motion to table <br />Pop Warner Football's issue until the Recreation Committee could fully understand the field fees of <br />the turf fields. F. Driscoll seconded the motion. Motion passed in favor of tabling the issue by a <br />vote of 5 - 0- 0. <br />J. Feudo stated that he would update the Recreation Committee on the agreement between the Town <br />and School Department regarding field fees for the Synthetic Turf fields. Due to the fact that the <br />Recreation Committee had not met in several months the opportunity had not presented itself. <br />Recreation and Open Space Master Plan <br />J. Feudo stated due to the Recreation Committee meeting being moved back a week, a member of <br />the CPDC was not able to attend the meeting. Town Planner Chris Reilly and members of the <br />
