DiPietro, Rec. Committee Chairman, B. Winne, Rec. Committee Vice-Chairman, <br />Frank Driscoll, Rec. Committee Member, K. Kaminer, Rec. Committee Member, N. Swain, Rec. <br />Committee Member, B. Claroni, School Committee Rep., Mary Ann Kozlowski, Rec. Committee <br />Member, John Feudo, Recreation Administrator <br />M. DiPietro called the meeting to order at 7:12 PM. <br />B. Claroni clarified a statement in the section titled "Field Allocation Process". The third <br />paragraph, second sentence should read "Recently the league changed the 11 V 11 to 8 V 8..." <br />B. Winne made a motion to accept the minutes as amended for April 14th , 2009 meeting. K. <br />Kaminer seconded the motion. Motion passed in favor of accepting the minutes for April 14, 2009 <br />by a vote of 5 - 0- 1. <br />Painting at Collins Field <br />The town engineers and turf company recommended against having the "unauthorized" lines <br />removed at Parker Middle School. There was fear that the removal process may fade or worse <br />damage the fibers of the field. J. Feudo recommended that the RUSC should still pay the cost as a <br />fine and the money could be put in to some type of escrow account for future repairs. The <br />Recreation Committee agreed that would be an acceptable solution, however were not sure if they <br />had the authority to fine an organization. J. Feudo said he would check with the Town Manager to <br />see how a fine would have to been imposed and by whom. <br />Sub-Committee Development for the Field Process <br />Feudo asked for volunteers to serve on the Field process Sub-committee. M. DiPietro, B. Winne, <br />B. Claroni and F. Driscoll volunteered. <br />New Programs <br />J. Feudo presented new summer program additions, Athletic Evolution and Athletic Training. Both <br />programs are directed by high quality, home grown instructors. The programs will be offered at <br />- opposite time slots as well as different weeks during the summer. <br />r <br />
