Board of Selectmen-October 13, 1987 <br /> Meeting convened at 7 : 30 P.M. The following members were <br /> present; John Russell Chairman, Russell Graham Secretary, Mollie <br /> Ziegler, Paul Landers, Town Manager Peter Hechenbleikner, and the <br /> following citizens; Donald C. Allen, Brian McMenimen, Dick Lynch, <br /> Charles Catalfamo, Randy Harrison, Liz Green, Bill Burdett, Lisa <br /> Feldman, Jack Rivers, Virginia Adams, Mary Bowen, Stephen Viegas, ` <br /> Barbara Cades , George Paul, William Campbell, William Brian, <br /> Linda Driscoll , Frank Driscoll . On motion by Ziegler and <br /> seconded by Graham the minutes of September 28, 1987 were ap- <br /> proved 3-0-1. <br /> Liason reports - Paul Landers thanked all the members of the Fire <br /> Facility Study Committee for their commitment over the summer. <br /> The committee consisted of Pete Hechenbleikner, Len Redfern, Wil- <br /> liam Campbell , Elizabeth Greene , Thomas Stohlman and William <br /> Brown. <br /> George Paul, from Fire Safety Consultants, Inc. gave his presen- <br /> tation of the need for a new fire station. Len Redfern showed <br /> slides of the present fire stations. Attached to these minutes <br /> is the Fire Facility Study Committee Report. <br /> On motion by Landers seconded by Graham the Board recommended Ar- <br /> ticles 18 & 19 to Town Meeting by a vote of 4-0-0 . <br /> On motion by Landers seconded by Graham the Board approved 4-0-0 <br /> the Liquor Pouring Policy. <br /> Municipal Space Presentation - Present were 'Nils Nordberg, Marty <br /> Kretsch, Henry Higgot. Nils Nordberg gave a slide presentation <br /> on every office at Town Hall and showed the need for work in <br /> these offices. <br /> On motion by Ziegler seconded by Landers the Board voted 4-0-0 to <br /> establish a Solid Waste Advisory Subcommittee, a subcommittee of <br /> the Hazardous Waste Committee. <br /> On motion by Landers seconded by Graham the Board voted 4-0-0 to <br /> reduced the Performance Bond for Continental Cablevision from <br /> $150,000 to $100,000. <br /> fa <br /> ' r <br /> 1 <br />
