i I Board of Selectmen Meeting August 10, 1987 The Board of Selectmen convened in the Executive Offices , 6 Lowell St. , Reading, MA AT 7:30 P.M. Present were Chairman Rus- sell , Vice Chairman Nigro , Secretary Graham, Board Members Landers, Ziegler and Town Manager, Peter I . Hechenbleikner. On motion by Nigro seconded by Landers the Board approved 5-0-0 the minutes of May 26 , 1987. On motion by Graham seconded by Landers the Board voted 4-1-0 with Russell abstaining to appoint Margaret W. Russell to the Budget Format Review Committee. On motion by Graham seconded by Landers the Board voted 5-0-0 to approved the first reading on House or Building Moving. On motion by Nigro seconded by Ziegler the Board voted 5-0-0 to approve the name change of Reading Town Taxi to Courtesy Cab of Reading. On motion by Graham seconded by Nigro the Board approved the salary of $560 . 16 per week 5-0-0 , for Louis DeBregard Jr. , Highway Supervisor. The Board on a motion by Ziegler seconded by Landers voted 5-0-0 to appoint Eugene Nigro, Vice Chairman to the "Employee Awards Committee. " The Board on a motion by Ziegler seconded by Nigro approved the modification of the lease for Continental Cablevision 5-0-0 . by the addition of Paragraph 23 , which refers to the Cancellation Clause. On motion by Ziegler seconded by Nigro the Board unanimously op- posed the collection of trash at 1 Charles Place 5-0-0. The Board on motion by Landers seconded by Nigro introduced on a first reading 5-0-0 the Liquor Pouring Policy. Adjourned: 10: 15 P.M. Respectfully submitted: 1
