1 <br /> a <br /> Board of Selectmen Meeting <br /> April 6, 1987 <br /> The Board of Selectmen convened in the Executive Offices , 6 <br /> Lowell St. , Reading, MA at 7: 30 P.M. Present were Chairman Rus- <br /> sell , Vice Chairman Nigro, Secretary Graham, Board Members <br /> Landers, Ziegler and Town Manager, Peter I . Hechenbleikner. <br /> Robert Lynch of 23 Buckskin Drive present. Mr. Lynch' s question <br /> to the Board of Selectmen was when will the road be completed? <br /> On a motion by Nigro and seconded by Landers the Board voted 4-0- <br /> 1 Ziegler abstaining to accept Buckskin Drive as an accepted <br /> street and the charging of betterments therfor. <br /> Chet and Jennifer Bejthch of 19 Clover Circle spoke in favor of <br /> approving the acceptance of Clover Circle, 8 residents were in <br /> favor, the rest made no response. On motion by Landers seconded <br /> by Nigro the Board unanimously recommended to acceptance of <br /> Clover Circle as an accepted street and the charging of better- <br /> ments therefor, 5-0. <br /> Robert Bossey and Lenny Pienta III were present from Eastway. <br /> On motion by Ziegler seconded by Landers the Board voted 4-0-1 <br /> with Nigro abstaining in favor of accepting Eastway as an ac- <br /> cepted street and charge betterments therefore. <br /> Edward DiPasquale of 20 Criterion Road was present. On motion by <br /> Nigro seconded by Landers the Board voted 5-0 to accept Criterion <br /> Road as an accepted street and the charging of betterments there- <br /> for. <br /> Thomas Fallon was granted an additional 20 days sick leave on a <br /> motion by Nigro and seconded by Landers 5-0. <br /> The Board made note of the ground breaking ceremony on April 25th <br /> for the DPW Facility. <br /> The recommended rent increases , for Pearl St. School was <br /> postponed until April 16th. <br /> Considerable discussion took place regarding the parking on Vine <br /> Street and Arlington Streets, by the commuters who use the Depot. <br /> Residents present regarding their concerns were as follows: <br /> Ralph Blunt 22 Linden Street <br /> William Albro 382 West St <br /> William Welch 35 Chapel Hill Drive <br /> Denise A.
