Board of Selectmen Meeting <br /> May 5, 1994 <br /> The meeting was convened at 7:30 p.m. in the Conference Room, 16 <br /> Lowell Street, Reading, MA. Present were Chairman George Hines, <br /> Vice Chairman Bill Burditt, Secretary Sally Hoyt, Selectmen Dan <br /> Ensminger and Camille Anthony, Town Manager Peter Hechenbleikner <br /> and Town Counsel Theodore Cohen. <br /> On motion by Burditt seconded by Hoyt the Board voted to approve <br /> the change of Reading's election equipment from punch card to <br /> Accu-Vote optical scanner equipment, said optical equipment to be <br /> implemented with the Primary Election on September 20, 1994. The <br /> motion was approved by a vote of 5-0-0. <br /> On motion by Burditt seconded Ensminger the Board voted to ap- <br /> prove the use of the Town Seal for the Suburban News 350th Edi- <br /> tion. The motion was approved by a vote of 5-0-0. <br /> On motion by Burditt seconded by Hoyt the Board voted to go into <br /> Executive Session for the purpose of discussing strategy with <br /> respect to litigation, not to come back into open session. On a <br /> roll call vote all members voted in the affirmative and the mo- <br /> tion was carried.
