The subcommittee is set up to review three potential sites - the RMLD,
the so called tree or moth property at the landfill, and the present station. They are meeting again
Friday evening. Hines expressed concern that the evaluation of sites other than the existing site
was not part of the charge to the committee and we should make sure that task forces are
following their charge. The Town Manager indicated that he would check this issue, but the
reason for evaluating other sites was a concern expressed by potential architects who were
interviewed for the project that we may not be able to accomplish everything on the existing site.
MacDonald reviewed the Elder Tax Rebate issue and noted that it would be on the agenda later.
With regard to the Mineral Street Bridge design review, he read a statement for review.
