It will be the same design of composite decking as other <br />recent projects. He will also seek approval from Trails and Conservation. The committee <br />voted to approve the project. <br />• Discussed Phase 3 of the dead tree removal. TFC will seek approval from DCR and the <br />Reading ConCom of the Forest Cutting Plan. TFC to prepare an application for a DCR <br />grant as was done last year. <br />• S. Bowe reported that Parterre Ecological did a great job with buckthorn <br />removalttreatment in Area 3 by the Council Ring. <br />• Discussed native plants for Area 3. Jumping worms were found in the native plant pots <br />that were intended for Area 3. Methods to remove the cocoons/worms were discussed <br />but not approved. <br />• K. Habel asked permission to plant native plants near the chimney in Area 1 that was <br />cleared in January. C. Tirone and M. Moore saw no problem with this. The committee <br />voted to approve planting native plants in this area. <br />• Discussed that someone has been camping in the TF. RPD has investigated but found <br />no violation of the by law. <br />• Voted to approve the minutes from the 6/21/22 meeting. <br />• Next Meeting: scheduled for 8/23122 at 7:00 pm (subsequently cancelled) <br />Page 1 1 <br />
