L M. 1 ! ,IFw. <br />Board - committee - commission - council: 2022 SEP -8 AH 9: 30 <br />Board of Cemetery Trustees <br />Date: 2022-07-12 Time: 6:o0PM <br />Building: Location: Remote <br />Address: <br />Purpose: General Business <br />Attendees: Members - Present: <br />Virginia Blodgett, William Brown, Carl McFadden, Ron Stortz <br />Members - Not Present: Caitlin Salmon, Brian Boyle <br />Others Present: Michael Hannaford, Supervisor; Michael O'Halloran, <br />Administrative Specialist <br />Minutes Respectfully Submitted By: Michael O'Halloran <br />Topics of Discussion: <br />Town of Reading <br />Board of Cemetery Trustees <br />Tuesday, July 12,2022 <br />Pursuant to a meeting legally posted, the meeting of July 12, 2022 convened at 6:00 P.M. in the <br />Berger Rm at Reading Town Hall. <br />Present: Carl McFadden, Chairman <br />Virginia Blodgett, Vice Chairman <br />Ron Stortz <br />William Brown <br />Absent: Caitlin Salmon, Secretary <br />Brian Boyle <br />Also Present: Michael Hannaford, Supervisor; Michael O'Halloran, Administrative <br />Review of Past Meeting Minutes <br />The minutes of May 9, 2022 were reviewed and approved by a vote of 4-0 on a motion by <br />Virginia Blodgett and seconded by Ron Stortz. <br />General Business <br />The Board discussed submitting a warrant article that would ban dogs from the Cemeteries. This <br />warrant article, if passed would allow the Police department to fine up to $300.00 per violation. <br />Current Cemetery Regulations does not allow for fines, and has been difficult to enforce. The <br />Board approved the warrant article and all signed. Bill will forward the article to the Town <br />Manager to be included with the next Town Meeting. <br />Page I 1 <br />
