The bike group attendees <br />said they will get the word out to the members of their group. <br />• Town Forest Appreciation Day on 5/1/22 was a great success — Thank you <br />Meghan Bowe! This event may be held annually. <br />• Discussed successful Amazon Robotics service day with about 20 to 30 <br />volunteers pulling buckthorn — Thank you Amazon Robotics! <br />• Discussed invasive plants in the Compost Area and the threat they pose to <br />spreading into the TF. <br />• Discussed native plants for Area 3 near the Council Ring. TFC voted to support <br />Walter Kittredge's proposal to provide plants for Area 3 of the TF. <br />• Discussed that someone has been camping in the TF for about 2 to 3 weeks. <br />RPD has investigated. RPD has a behavioral health specialist. <br />• Discussed participating in the Reading Friends & Family Day on 6/11/22. <br />• Discussed complaints of uncontrolled dogs. TFC voted 6 in favor and 1 opposed <br />to recommend a change to the by-law to limit the number of dogs off leash to <br />three per handler. Invite the TFC Select Board liaison and RPD to the next <br />meeting to discuss the by-law change process and implementation. <br />• Voted to approve the minutes from the 4/12/22 meeting <br />• Next Meeting: scheduled for 6/21/22 at 7:00 pm <br />Page I 1 <br />
