a� OFRf,��A <br />t C <br />Stix° Town of Reading <br />p''•wmax°PP Meeting Minutes <br />REACH: Barrows, Coolidge, and RMHS <br />Embark: Coolidge and RMHS <br />RPS is using a vertical alignment approach to meet the needs of <br />students <br />RPS is investing some COVID school funding in outside consultants <br />A new administrative assistant for student services will begin on <br />1/24/22 <br />Spring Professional Development will include Reading with Keys to <br />LiteracyrKS11 <br />Some Special Education staff will be getting trained in Down's <br />Syndrome during a 10 week course and the plan is to then use a train the <br />trainer model where staff will train other staff about what they have learned <br />Parents Workshop are planned for Executive Functioning and Eating <br />Disorders <br />3. Discussion of Open Meeting Law <br />Discussion was held on changing the SEPAC bylaws to provide for board <br />members to discuss SEPAC business outside the requirements of the open <br />meeting law. A bylaw committee was formed to propose potential revisions to <br />the SEPAC Charter to implement this change <br />4. Discussion on Agendas and Minutes <br />It was agreed that the new board will decide how to move forward regarding <br />posting agendas and minutes <br />D. Public Comment <br />In the next meeting a revote will occur on disbanding the Reading in Reading SEPAC <br />sub committee <br />
