He presented the Zoom Meeting information to the public for those <br /> wishing to join and explained the features of the Zoom program and how to provide comments <br /> for any given application. He added that RCN is broadcasting and recording the meeting. <br /> Mr. Redfern called the meeting to order. <br /> 117 County Road—Case#20-10 <br /> Mr. Redfern read the legal advertisement for case#20-10, 117 County Road into the record and <br /> swore in those wishing to speak on the application. <br /> Ms. Patricia Moschella and Mr. Mike Moschella, homeowners, were present on behalf of the <br /> application.They began by explaining that Mr. Moschella is wheelchair bound and that they are <br /> trying to make the home safe and wheelchair accessible. She continued that the house is split- <br /> level and on a hill.The front door was previously above ground level and accessed by steps up <br /> into the living area.The split-level stairs were removed and there is now the need for a new <br /> landing. She explained they are proposing a covered entry way that would provide enough <br /> room for handicap users to go outside,turn around and be protected from harsh weather. <br /> Ms. Moschella reviewed the variance criteria for the application. She stated a 2' x 7' area of the <br /> new landing went into the required front setback area and would need relief. Her answers to <br /> the variance criteria were shared on-screen.
