He <br /> presented the Zoom Meeting information to the public for those wishing to join and explained the <br /> features of the Zoom program and how to provide comments for any given application. He added that <br /> RCN is broadcasting and recording the meeting. <br /> 34 Orange Street—Case#20-04 <br /> Mr.Caouette read the legal notice for Case#20-04-34 Orange Street into the record. <br /> Mr.John Taubman and Ms.Rebecca Taubman, homeowners,were present on behalf of the application. <br /> They introduced themselves and explained that they would like to remove the existing barn in the rear <br /> of the property and rebuild it to the same dimensions.They continued that they were not looking to use <br /> it as an accessory apartment but as a secondary space for the family to utilize.Ms.Taubman noted that <br /> they have a picture of the existing structure that they wanted to rebuild to make safe. <br /> Mr. Pernice asked if the applicant could confirm that they were looking to rebuild the structure with the <br /> same dimensions.The applicants stated that they were in fact looking to be rebuild to the same height <br /> and dimensions as the existing barn,the square footage will not be increased. <br /> Mr.Redfern asked for clarification on the special permit for an accessory apartment that was advertised <br /> and the variance for the height that is requested. Mr.MacNichol clarified that the proposed height of <br /> 1B'exceeds the current zoning requirements.The applicant stated that because the plans proposed <br /> include a bathroom and small kitchenet it was classified as an apartment.They reiterated that they did <br /> not intend on using it as an accessory apartment. <br /> Page 1 1 <br />
