Sharing Experiences <br /> a. Josh shared about the debate and encouraged about next week's HRAC event <br /> with the Senator/ Representatives. <br /> b. Amy-library working on framework for 6-8 month series for"see it, name it, <br /> change it" for anti racism. Multi modal series. See and identify issues, name <br /> it, and change it. <br /> c. Kern- Teachers event in the square for Brianna Taylor. Seemed like a good <br /> turnout. No issues, calm and peaceful. <br /> 2. Police Readout: <br /> a. Instagram issue- over the weekend. (2) fake Instagram accounts. They were <br /> shut down but did have some racial comments. A person was identified and <br /> charged. Does not qualify as hate crime but language was hate based. Means <br /> it will be filed at state level. Reached out to State groups to ensure correct <br /> policies were followed and confirmed all processes were followed. Also <br /> Reading is adding more people to civil rights officer training to ensure we <br /> follow all the processes and documentation. <br /> b. Zoom bombings- going around districts around the country. People need to <br /> follow best practices and are now fully implemented. Zoom meetings were <br /> posted on a social media sites and tried to be accessed from overseas and <br /> around the country. Not much that can be done locally. <br /> c. Oct Breast cancer awareness and Domestic Violence awareness. Special <br /> patches being worn and sold to raise money for local charities. <br /> 3. Sen/ Rep Listening Event <br /> a. Josh reviewed event logistics <br /> b. Event overlap- will do better going forward in coordination with Town <br /> c.
