He feels this is a <br /> positive step. He attended the recent SEPAC meeting and said it was well attended and <br /> the information on the IEP process was well presented and received. He thanked the <br /> district administrators for attending. <br /> Dr. Dockser offered a change to her liaison report reflected in the February 6^minutes <br /> asking that the word "will'be changed to"may"regarding the Ad Hoc Committee's <br /> possible new time. <br /> C. Consent Agenda <br /> Mrs. Borawski asked if the committee wanted any items removed from the consent <br /> agenda. The motion carried 6-0. <br /> D. New Business <br /> Business Manager Hiring Process <br /> Dr. Doherty began by saying it is important to move on this process now. He said that it <br /> is a two-part process. He will be looking for an Interim Business Manager from March to <br /> July to close the fiscal year. He is hoping to hire a retired business manager. Part two of <br /> the process is to conduct a search for a new Business Manager. He has done a bit of <br /> restructuring of the position moving the supervision of IT and Facilities back to the <br /> Superintendent. Dr. Doherty feels this position may be difficult to fill. <br /> Mr. Parks would like to see a member of the Finance Committee on the Search <br /> Committee. <br /> Human Resources Administrator Jenn Allard reviewed the timeline and hiring process. <br /> She shared that this is a similar process to previous administrator searches. The selected <br /> candidate would begin on July I". She hopes to finalize the composition of the search <br /> committee in the next few days. If the committee approves the process tonight the <br /> position will be posted tomorrow. We will also send out an online survey to staff and <br /> families looking for feedback on the qualities they would like to see in the next business <br /> manager. <br /> Page 1 2 <br />
