Fiorente calls the meeting to order at 7:04pm. She states she is calling the <br /> meeting to order in absence of chair and vice-chair of Recreation Committee and <br /> indicates the committee will need to nominate a chair for the for the evening. <br /> M. DiPietro nominates R. Hand as chair of the Recreation Committee for the <br /> evening. J. Parks seconds. R. Hand accepts nomination. Motion passes 6-0. <br /> K. Kaminer makes a motion to accept the meeting minutes from the July 23, 2019 <br /> meeting as written. E. Gaffen makes a friendly amendment that he was not listed <br /> as not present at the meeting. G. Fiorente notes the error and states she will <br /> change. E. Gaffen then seconds the motion. Motion passes 6-0. <br /> R. Hand asks committee to move to the agenda topic for field updates and the <br /> proposal from Reading United Soccer Club. The committee agrees. <br /> G. Fiorente gives a brief update on the events and states that at the last Recreation <br /> Committee Meeting the committee recommended temporarily lighting the birch <br /> meadow field with 3 portable lights so that the Recreation Program Saturday Night <br /> Lights could still play at capacity with Turf II being down due to renovation.
