Due to an error in calculation of <br /> interest, there was a large addition to the Administrative Account. Currently there is $1185.23 in this <br /> account. We have the ability to transfer out some of the money to be used for grants. <br /> Donna emailed Barry Berman to thank him for his assistance with support for the Council. <br /> The RCC page on the town's website was updated to include the newest press release, the slide show <br /> from last year's reception and important dates. <br /> Megan started researching the practicality of having a high school student sit on the council for one <br /> year as an associate member. She felt it is important to have a"job description"to present to the <br /> guidance department to help with selection of such a student. She will continue to work on this. <br /> Publicity: Donna arranged to have the signs put up on the Common in September, to have the library <br /> advertise for grant applications on their digital sign, and to have YCC publish information about grant <br /> t in Mid <br /> local newspapers,Theications. Nancy ll send an Advocate,TheIIto the Master Transcript, TheEP tclhlisand The Readings magazine. RCt. This will also be sent to <br /> N and <br /> The Post will also be given the information. <br /> Town Survey: Nancy, Brian and Megan met and had suggestions for revising the survey. As a <br /> committee we decided to reduce the number of responses to 5 specific questions. It was suggested <br /> that we have the survey available on iPad and have someone walk around at the 375'h events to seek <br /> input. One obstacle might be lack of internet access. Nancy, Brian and Megan will finalize the survey <br /> and it will go out by the end of the month. <br /> Meeting adjourned at 8:30 pm. <br /> Page 1 <br />
