To date, 107 responses
received; 50 from the email list (180 on list) and 50 from the link on our website. The end date to
respond is June 30. Nancy, Megan and Brian worked on documenting the process for creating and
managing future surveys on the RCC Planning Calendar of the MCC website, under administrative
details. This will make it much easier for new members to understand and implement the process.
The survey is required annually if the town receives more than $20,000 from MCC. Other information
can easily be added to this through Google Docs on Drive; for example, press releases, templates for
letters that need to be sent out, etc.
Megan reported that at the Town Meeting funds were approved for a $ 5,000 line item for the Council.
Donna will send an email to the Town Manger expressing our gratitude.
There was discussion about the reception for grantees—whether to continue the reception bi-annually
or to do it every year; whether to combine forces with other groups, such as Arts Reading; to consider
seeking sponsors from the Town's businesses; whether to include performances/entertainment.
