Fiorente. G. Fiorente gives a brief update on the <br /> subcommittee members. Subcommittee members and Select Board liaisons give <br /> introductions. <br /> Subcommittee members discuss R. Hand as a possible chairman and M. Killion as a vice- <br /> chair. Subcommittee members suggest that it be placed on next agenda for more discussion <br /> since suggested chair is not present at the meeting and then brought to Recreation <br /> Committee. <br /> G. Fiorente states that she thinks the survey is the most important piece at this time to gain <br /> community feedback on what they would like to see in the area. She says included in the <br /> survey she thinks adding the Sunday early start and the topic of more lights should be two <br /> things we ask in the community. <br /> Members of the subcommittee agree to set a goal of making the survey the main focus. <br /> The subcommittee discusses conservation areas by the imagination station lot and at <br /> Castine. M. Killion puts emphasis on fixing Castine which has been talked about for years. <br /> G. Fiorente states that C.Tirone has said that nothing can be done in that area. M. Killion <br /> says that at least there can be something done to clean up the area. The subcommittee <br /> agrees. G. Fiorente suggests reaching out to C. Tirone and seeing if he and/or his chair can <br /> come to a future meeting to discuss conversation aspects of the project. The subcommittee <br /> agrees that this would be very beneficial and will revisit it after the survey is completed and <br /> out. <br /> The subcommittee discusses Coolidge field which in the past, has come up too short to be <br /> able to turf. <br /> Page 1 1 <br />
