No payments made.
Publicity and Survey:
Mary Ann reported that Reading Rec has a new executive director. She had a talk with him
and found out they could do an email drop with Information about applying for grants, which
would reach 4000 families. We should get in touch in July about this.
Donna reported one of the grant recipients—New England School of Performing Arts—has
changed the dates of their program. This did not pose a problem. Discussion turned to
what might happen if a grant recipient failed to use/request their funds. Would that money
be rolled into the next year? Donna will check with the MCC about this. She will also
follow-up with New England School of Performing Arts about their new dates and make sure
it is going to run.
Nancy presented the latest draft of the survey for members' comments. A few minor
changes were suggested and the final draft was approved. Everyone agreed Nancy did a
great job of pulling this together and thanked her for her work on it. Nancy will send the
final draft to RCC members first for one final check that it is coming through Survey Monkey
appropriately. She is working with Matt Kurlis, the Community Liaison for the town, to get a
link on the website. Additionally, we will have an ad in Your Community Connection
eNewsletter with a link to our survey. The library approved placement of a poster inviting
people to take the survey on the computers In the library. We will also use our email
database to send a request to participate.
