Town of Reading <br /> Y Meeting Minutes ,. o ve " CE <br /> ;, n fid:, i�. <br /> Board - committee - Commission - Council: 2111 OCT -9 PM 6130 <br /> Metro North Regional Housing Services <br /> Committee <br /> Date: 10-19-2017 Time: 9:00 AM <br /> Building: Reading Town Hall Location: Berger Room <br /> Address: 16 Lowell Street Session: <br /> Purpose: Bi-Monthly Meeting Version: <br /> Attendees: Members - Present: <br /> Julie Mercier, Laurie Stanton, Danielle McKnight, Valerie Gingrich, Krista <br /> Leahy <br /> Members - Not Present: <br /> Others Present: <br /> Liz Rust, Paul Reavis- Town Planner for Wakefield <br /> Minutes Respectfully Submitted By: Laurie Stanton <br /> Topics of Discussion: <br /> The Committee called to order at 9:45 AM. <br /> Minutes <br /> The minutes for August 24,2017 were approved unanimously. <br /> Status Update <br /> DHCD has finally updated the SHI list on their website. <br /> North Reading: <br /> Martin's Landing— Closing anticipated in December. <br /> Ms. McKnight has had conversations with DHCD, MassHousing and MHP regarding financing and <br /> potential use of other town-owned parcels. <br /> Ms. McKnight is continuing her work on the North Reading Housing Survey.The community meeting will <br /> probably be in January or early December. <br /> Reading: <br /> There are a lot of projects in the works for the Town: <br /> 20-24 Gould Street is a 40R mixed-use project with 55 rental units and 3,500 square feet of commercial <br /> space.There has been a lot of input from abutters,and many changes have been made.The affordable <br /> units will be 25-41%,and potentially provided at 60%Of the AMI if the Applicant receives LIHTC funding. <br /> Construction will take about 14 months.Ongoing with CPDC. <br /> Page I 1 <br />
