Town of Reading <br /> • Board of Cemetery Trustees <br /> Tuesday, January 3, 1995 <br /> Pursuant to a meeting legally posted, the meeting of January 3, <br /> 1995 convened at 7:30 P.M. in the Arnold Berger Meeting Room, <br /> Reading Town Hall. <br /> i <br /> Present: John Silvaggi, Chairman <br /> Joyce Miller, Vice Chairman <br /> Daniel F. Driscoll, Secretary <br /> Edward F. Fuller <br /> Mary Vincent <br /> Town Treasurer, Beth Klepeis and Robert Keating, Supervisor of <br /> the Reading Cemeteries, were also present. <br /> 1. Secretary Minutes <br /> On a motion by Mr. Fuller, seconded by Ms. Vincent it was unani- <br /> mously voted to accept the Secretary's minutes of the December 6, <br /> 1994 Trustees Meeting. <br /> 2. Wood End Cemetery Development <br /> Supervisor Keating furnished a detailed report of an engineering <br /> survey, layout and development of 5,000 graves at an estimated <br /> • cost of $400,000. <br /> He received a commitment from the DPW to furnish the required <br /> fill and top soil which would reduce the cost by $100,000. <br /> Mr. Keating advised that the front section (approximately 4,000 <br /> graves) could be developed in two-three years if the necessary <br /> funding was obtained. <br /> 3. Wood End Fundinc <br /> Ms. Klepeis furnished the Trustees with printouts of the es- <br /> timated cost of obtaining a Bond for $300, 000 with a breakdown of <br /> yearly principal and interest charges for an eight and ten year <br /> period. She also explained Bond Anticipation Notes and the re- <br /> quired two-thirds vote at Town Meeting for a Bond issue. <br /> Ms. Klepeis will draw up the projected cost for a $200,000 Bond <br /> issue for a three year period. <br /> 4. Receipts <br /> Supervisor Keating furnished the Trustees with copies of the <br /> receipts from Sale of Lots and Miscellaneous charges for July <br /> 1994 through December 30, 1994. <br /> • <br /> 5.
