VA was appointed as a voting member. <br />• 119 Salem St - KF presented an. updated design for the property with enlarged windows <br />in the front. KF also had an example of the Boral a durable wood plastic composite to be <br />used'for window trim. May use Aztec on the corners: Both products can be painted <br />There is a plan to use the foundation fieldstone on the property as non-structural walls <br />less than .4 feet in height. Driveway curb cut remains the same and the structure will be <br />more . centered on the property. JW moved that the structure at 119 Salem St be <br />released from the stay of demolition as the owner has agreed in writing to accept a <br />demolition permit on specific conditions including measures approved by the Commission. <br />VA seconded the motioned. Vote 5-0. RW will bring the. letter to the building -inspector <br />tomorrow. <br />• Post Mark Square - Project has been approved by CPDC. <br />• 24 Gould St - A new..plan has been presented with changes. At CPDC meeting last <br />Monday a decision was made to.approve the project. The decision -included some of the <br />issues the RHC. had mentioned specifically in the historic memorial display area. JW <br />voiced concern about the loss of architectural integrity, of the design. RW felt that the <br />architectural changes to the front and sides of the building were an improvement. <br />The garage has-been pushed back by 3 feet from the rear abutters lot line.. The 2nd floor <br />living units are now 15 feet from the rear lot line, with slightly increased. separation for <br />the 3`d and 4th floors. Materials were changed. The project remains 4 floors. <br />• Finances - VA attends the Arts Reading ,group that is trying to start an. Arts district. <br />RHC discussed potential membership in the future.with a minimal fee. <br />• Minutes - Review minutes from 9/11, 9/13 <br />Page 1 1 <br />
