Mr. Boivin moved, seconded by Dr. Nihan, to approve the consent al4enda as <br />amended. The motion carried 5-0. <br />- Approval of RMHS Interact Club Field Trip <br />C. Resorts <br />Student Representatives <br />Student Representative Alex Nazzaro reported on the following: <br />• The RMHS Drama Club will be presenting 1776 this weekend <br />• The RMHS Winter Sports had a great winter season with girls basketball <br />and boys and girls hockey moving onto post season tournaments. Girls <br />track had 7 athletes make it to the States with one advancing to the All - <br />States. Wrestling had two wrestlers advance to the States and Sectional <br />tournaments and Gymnastics won the Middlesex League Championship <br />with an undefeated season and finished 7d' in the North Sectionals. <br />Liaison's Report <br />Dr. Nihan congratulated Tom Zaya and all those involved with the wrestling <br />program on hosting the recent state tournament. He has heard nothing but <br />positive feedback. <br />Mrs. Webb highlighted two items in this week's Pathways that featured a current <br />and a former student. She encouraged the community to read this communication <br />on a regular basis. <br />Chair Borawski said she, Superintendent Doherty and other committee members <br />attended the recent Finance Committee meeting and felt it was a wonderful <br />discussion. The Finance Committee is sensitive to how the school department <br />cuts will affect the continued progress of the district mission and goals. <br />Mrs. Webb pointed out that the School Committee Recommended budget has <br />been distributed and thanked Mrs. Borawski for the excellent School Committee <br />message. She encouraged the public to review this document and if they had <br />questions to attend the meetings or the School Committee Office Hour. <br />Dr. Snow Dockser echoed Mrs. Webb's sentiments saying that the budget <br />document is very readable. <br />Dr. Snow Dockser reported that the Human Relations Advisory Committee will <br />be meeting on March 2"d with Senator Jason Lewis as the guest. Other agenda <br />items include the Human Rights resolution that the group has contributed to and <br />the committee structure. There is a meeting of the MA. Association of Human <br />Rights on March 3rd in Medford that she will be attending. She shared that the <br />SEPAC has several upcoming events and encouraged the public to check out the <br />website which has been updated.
