Mt{SS. <br />Board - Committee - Commission - Council: <br />Historical Commission 1011 MAY 23 P 2: 44,11 <br />Date: 2017-05-10 Time: 7:00 PM <br />Building: Reading Town Hall Location: Conference Room <br />Address: 16 Lowell Street <br />Session: Joint Meeting <br />Purpose: Joint Meeting with Historical Version: Final <br />District Commission <br />Attendees: Members - Present: <br />Ron Weston (RW) - Acting Chair <br />Sharlene Reynolds Santo (SRS) - Secretary <br />Virginia Adams (VA) - Associate <br />Jonathan Barnes (JEB) - Treasurer <br />Samantha Couture (SC) - Associate <br />Members - Not Present: <br />Carl Mittnight, Jack Williams <br />Others Present: <br />Historic District Commission - Greg Maganzini, Everett Blodgett, Jack <br />Williams, Virginia Adams and Priscilla Poeller, Andy Friedmann, John Arena, <br />Ray Miyares, Eric Rustle and Kim Saunders. <br />Minutes Respectfully Submitted By: Sharlene Reynolds Santo <br />Topics of Discussion: <br />• Called to order at 7 pm by Ron Weston and Everett Blodgett called the HD meeting to <br />order. Ron appointed SC and VA as a voting member for this meeting. <br />• 186 Summer Ave - Group met to review of the Preservation Restriction Agreement <br />document, updated on Monday May 8, 2017. Discussion included RHC & HDC comments <br />and suggestions. Counsel to revise document based on discussion and resubmit for <br />proposed 5/17 follow up meeting. Joint meeting closed at 8:30 pm <br />• 79-81 Salem St - A letter was sent to the developer inviting him to this meeting RHC <br />has not received a response. <br />• Finances - JEB moved that the RHC reimbursed RW $156.96 for 4 easels to be used for <br />displays. SRS seconded. VOTE 5-0. <br />• USPS - RHC received letter from Andrew Corona a revised plan is in process. RHC has <br />clearly stated the view that structure should be scaled back. To date no new revisions <br />have been shared with RHC. <br />• Membership - RW and SC have both applied for reappointment. SC has agreed to be <br />the RHC representative for the preservation trust commission. SRS moved authorize RW <br />to sign the RPA on behalf of the RHC. JEB seconded. Vote 5-0. <br />• Garden Club Event - VA has organized materials and SRS, JEB & SC will assist May 20 <br />9-1 <br />Page 1 1 <br />
