The hearing was called to order at 7:00 pm. SRS <br />chaired the hearing, RW read the public notice, JEB gave a brief overview of the historical <br />and architectural significance of the property and MC gave a brief presentation on the <br />application. Neighbors were in support of the planned attached garage. Questions and <br />concerns voiced by RHC were addressed. <br />JW moved that the presented information is sufficient to make a final determination on <br />the requested demolition of the structure at 287 Ash St and that the Public Hearing be <br />closed. JEB seconded the motion Vote 5-0. <br />SRS moved that the loss of the structure at 287 Ash St would be detrimental to the Town <br />under the purposes of the bylaw (7.2.1) and that a Demolition Delay of up to six (6) <br />months be imposed beginning this date. JEB seconded. Vote 3-2. As this motion to <br />impose a demolition delay requires 4 votes in the affirmative to pass, the motion did not <br />carry and no delay was imposed.
