Call to Order <br />Chair Croft called the Executive Session to order in the Superintendent's Office. <br />School Safety & Security Update <br />Superintendent Doherty updated the Committee on the recent canine search at Reading Memorial High <br />School. This was the third unannounced canine search conducted and it went very smoothly. <br />Chief Cormier shared that these drills are taken very seriously and the schedule is keep very quiet. 25 <br />random classrooms were selected, the students vacated and the dogs entered. The dogs are not detecting a <br />lot in these searches. <br />Chief Cormier left the meeting at 9:14 p.m. <br />Litigation Update <br />Superintendent Doherty updated the Committee on the status of the TLT litigation case. Hearing resume <br />on May 11h. TLT rejected the settlement offer and the Superintendent indicated they may settle for $1M. <br />Page i 1 <br />
